Chimezie is the founding Chief Executive of the Firm and Head of Our Lagos Offices. He oversees our Financial Services practice sector.
An experienced financial market operator, Chimezie has worked with a wide range of business and has served in a variety of leadership positions within and outside Nigeria, including a Two-year stint as Company Secretary to Riggs Ventures West Africa Plc where he advised the company preparatory and during its conversion to a Publicly held Company as well as its listing on the Nigerian Stock Exchange. He also served as the Legal Adviser to the Nigerian Liquefied Petroleum Gas Association.
Prior to his appointment as Chief Executive, he served as Deputy Managing Director of Integrated Petroleum Services Ltd, an indigenous Oil and Gas trading and services company. He has worked as a Community Mediator with Common Ground London, becoming one of very few Nigerian practitioners trained in Narrative Mediation. Chimezie had the benefit of learning at the feet of several prominent legal practitioners whilst working at the law offices of Akinwunmi and Busari, Chief G.O Sodipo and Co, Jade and Stone Solicitors.
In addition to his legal qualifications, Chimezie is also a trained Financial Analyst certified in Sell side and Buy-side investment analysis and Financial trading, with expertise in valuation of complex financial assets, financial modelling, Strategic Management evaluation, risk management, transaction structuring for tax optimisation; regulatory compliance, exotic asset management and legal strategy development for financial markets.
Chimezie holds an LL.B from University of Lagos , a BL from the Nigerian Law School, and a M.Sc in Law and Finance from Queen Mary, University of London. He also holds a Diploma in Social Media Marketing, a Diploma in Project Management and a variety of certifications in numerous areas, including Six Sigma operations management.
He is a member of the Society of Technical Analysts UK, Nigerian Institute of Management, Institute of Strategic Management Nigeria, Association of Professional Negotiators and Mediators, Intellectual Property law Association of Nigeria, Chartered Institute of Public Management and Negotiation and Conflict Management group.
Hossana manages firm operations and administrative services for the Group, organising our people, information and other resources towards achieving maximal productivity.
Hossana takes care of the day-to-day non-legal aspects of Group projects. Her responsibilities include co-ordinating teams, workstreams and information flows. In addition she ensures regular communication between the Milton and Cross team, the client and any additional advisors. She also manages the financial aspects of the various practices including budgeting, monitoring and providing regular fee updates to the client and the firm.
Hosanna has a background in hospitality management, customer service and event management.
